The need to develop selfless spirit and work for human capital development has been stressed.
This was the focal point of the speech delivered by Khalifat Ajongolo Alhaji M. B. Olohuun Dare immediately after a prayer organized by Ajongolo family in Ilorin to honour their sons, Professor O. Y Abdul hameed who was recently elevated to the rank of professor of Law at the University of Ilorin and Alhaji Saheed Adeniyi who was reappointed as General Manager of lower Niger River Basin.
Alhaji Olohun Dare commended the efforts of both Prof. O.Y Abdul and Alhaji Saheed for their great impacts and the spirit of serving the community.
He also urged them to continue with their good characters.
In his remark Professor Abdul who is also the National Secretary of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressives Union IEDPU and Director Centre for Ilorin Studies, University of Ilorin who spoke with Radio Nigeria appreciates Ajongolo’s family for the gesture and assured of doing his best for the service of the community and the people of Ilorin Emirate at large.
The prayer which was led by Imam Ajongolo Ahaji Salahudeen Ambali has in attendance some Imams, Alfas and well wishers including the National President of IEDPU as well as other members of the Union.
