Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has said politicians would always resolve their differences.

Ganduje stated this in the ancient city at a peace dinner, organised by Kano Peace Committee, in collaboration with the National Peace Committee, as part of efforts to foster a peaceful atmosphere ahead of this weekend’s gubernatorial and legislative polls.

He asserted that former state governor and presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, remains his intimate friend.

The governor said there was nothing untoward in his chauffeuring of erstwhile governor, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, to the latter’s residence.

Admitting that politics is a dirty game, the governor advised stakeholders and political parties to always promote peace, harmonious relationships and hitch-free elections.

He said it is high time political platforms built campaigns on core issues of development.

Ganduje pledged to encourage free, fair and credible elections.
