Kwara State House of Assembly has received the reviewed twenty twenty-one Appropriation bill from by Governor Abdulraman Abdulrazaq
The twenty twenty-one budget proposal is upwardly reviewed from one hundred and twenty-three billion naira to one hundred and thirty four point nine billion naira.
This is contained in a message from the Governor titled “Addendum to twenty twenty-one Budget Estimate” addressed to the Speaker, Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu and read before his colleagues during today’s Special Plenary.
Engineer Danladi-Salihu noted that the Capital Expenditure stands at sixty four point nine billion naira while the Recurrent Expenditure is put at seventy point four billion naira.
The Speaker described the turn out of lawmakers as collective dedication to serve the people of the state despite short notice.
Engineer Danladi-Salihu therefore referred reviewed budget estimate to House Committee on Finance and Appropriation for further legislative action
