In appreciation for the untiring efforts of the Corps to rid their community and Kwara State at large of criminal elements and ensure security of lives and property, the Agbonda community in Omu Aran, ifelodun local government area of Kwara State has donated an operational vehicle and bike to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in the town.
Confirming this to the newsmen on Thursday, the civil defence public relations officer in the State Babawale Zaid Afolabi disclosed that the community appreciate the efforts of the Corps in the town adding that it was believe of the community that the donation will further boost the confidence and operational activities of the corps in the area.
” The State Commandant Iskilu Ayinla Makinde received the operational vehicles and motor bike on behalf of the corps and assured the community that the corps will not relent in its efforts to rid the area and Kwara State in general of crimes and criminal elements” Babawale disclosed.
According to the CDPRO, the presentation was witnessed by the Oba of Agbonda, His Royal Highness Oba Sunday Iranloye who seized the occasion to promise that his people will continue to support civil defence and other security agencies in the area with logistics and other necessary equipment tht can further boost effectiveness of their operations.
