Operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Patigi division kwara state, have arrested Nicholas Kelechi ‘m’ 25 years and Benjamin Moore ‘m’ 42 years of Oke idawo Iseyin Oyo state.
They were arrested on Friday at Yagba market Patigi spending fake money.
Benjamine Moore the ring leader hail from Ebonyi state but reside in iseyin.
He is currently running two homes, having a wife in iseyin with five children and another in Enugun with four children.
He confessed that a man he met at lokoja introduced him to the business. He took him to Gurumaraji Temple at ibadan to collect the fake money,using two hundred naira N200 real note to collect one thousand naira N1000 fake money.
They decided to operate in far places like yagba market kwara where they can’t be easily traced.
He also confessed this will be his first attempt.
The two suspects are now at the state headquarters for further investigation.
