The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has set up a committee to conduct a safety audit of its operational and engineering units.
The committee has serving and retired senior officers as members and headed by AVM Abraham Adole, Deputy Theatre commander, ‘Operation Hadin Kai’.
Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, disclosed this in a statement he issued in Abuja on Tuesday.
The Committee is expected to submit report by June 18.
He stated that the committee would conduct a safety evaluation of NAF units and recommend measures to enhance the safety of operations.
Gabkwet added that the committee would interact with operational and technical personnel of concerned units for views, observations and contributions on safety measures. (NAN)
