The executive governor of Kano state Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf has said that No decision has been taken yet on the status of the new emirates established by the previous administration.
This was contained in a statement signed by press secretary to the governor Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa which was made available to journalists in Kano.
The statement said contrary to the rumours circulating in social media, Kano State government has not taken any decision yet on the new emirates as speculated.
It said the engagements between executive and legistilative arms of government in Kano will be open and transparent to allow the good people of Kano access to information on major policies and decisions of the NNPP led administration.
