The commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps wishes to inform the public that the command did not at any time detain under age persons.
This is contained in a statement issued by spokesperson of the Kwara State Command of NSCDC, Olasunkanmi Ayeni while reacting to a particular post on social media.
One Pa David Dako from Oro town in Irepodun Local Government, lodged a complain about one of his son Samuel who was suspected to have been abducted in a church; EVIDENCE OF CHRIST CHURCH located along Oja tuntun, Agbooba, Ilorin.
Three members of the church were invited for investigation.
The investigation led some officers to a building at Agbooba area where it was discovered that there were some other people including some children who the invited people claimed to be members of the church.
At the moment, investigation is still on going on the matter. The commandant enjoined all parents to always know the where about of their wards, who they socialise or worship with so as to guide and guard them from being brainwashed to commit crimes.
