PALM SUNDAY: CHRISTIANS CHARGED ON HUMILITY AS EXEMPLIFIED BY JESUS CHRIST

As the world commemorates Palm Sunday, Christians have been urged to always humble themselves as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Pastor in charge of Saint John’s Anglican Church, Idofian, Ifelodun local government of Kwara State, Canon Paul Falusi gave the advice in an exclusive with Lanre omotoso.

Canon Falusi said humility of Jesus Christ made Him to ride donkey instead of horse to Jerusalem, despite being the king of kings, yet he was celebrated.

The clergyman noted that with humility Christians would be able to win souls for Jesus Christ, urging them to also preach eternity by recognizing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

He emphasized that Christians must preach the Gospel of salvation to mankind which was the essence of coming of Jesus Christ to rescue human-being back to God, their creator.

While noting that God could replace anyone who ignore preaching the message of salvation, Canon Falusi urged Christians to continue to preach the gospel to save mankind from eternal condemnation.

Canon Falusi of Saint John’s Anglican Church, Idofian, advised Christians to serve God more than ever, and urged them to be agent of peace wherever they find themselves.

The clergyman stressed that Nigerians should call on God for peace to reign as well as help put end to all the security challenges facing the nation.
