The 14th Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II was today granted audience by Niger Republic Coup Leader Abdourahamane Chiani.
The development came days after delegation from the economic community of West African States (ECOWAS) led by former Nigerian President General Abdussami Abubakar failed to meet face-to-face with either Chiani or ousted President Bazoum Muhamed who was still in detention then.
However details of their meeting is yet to be revealed to the public
