Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari has debunked the news that abducted Kankara boys have been released as broadcast by Arise TV and a tweet credited to Abike-Dabiri, Chairperson Nigerian Diaspora Commission.
Governor Masari debunked the fake news that the boys have been rescued while speaking to BBC Hausa Service.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman Nigerian Diaspora Commission Abike Dabiri Erewa through whose Twitter handle was used in announcing the release of Abducted Students in Katsina has also denied the report.
Mrs Erewa who has deleted the tweet also claimed her account was hacked .
Arise TV has equally pulled down the report from its medium.
