ASSALAMU ALAIKUM
This is to inform the general public that the 35th National Qur’anic Musabaqa (Kano 2021) organized by Center for Islamic Studies of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto which earlier scheduled for 26th Febuary, 2021 as commencement date has now been shifted to 19th next month March 2021.
This was announced by Director Center for Islamic Studies, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Professor Abubakar Muhammad Yelwa, after a meeting between management of the Centre and local organizing committee of the hosting Kano State of the National Qur’anic Musabaqa.
According Professor Abubakar Yalwa Muhammad, it was after review of the preparation of the National Qur’anic Musabaqa that the new date (19th – 27 of March 2021) has been fixed and agreed by both the management of the centre and Hosting Kano State.
While the Centre for Islamic Studies, Sokoto urged all participating States to continue for their preparation on the forthcoming National Qur’anic Musabaqa, it also regrets any inconveniences this change may cause.
