Football pundits in the country have continued to express their reactions over the Super Eagles 21 man team released by coach Gernot Rohr to prosecute the doubleheader AFCON qualifiers against Sierraleone.
A veteran sport Journalist, Mr Jide Allen said the recent friendly matches against Algeria and Tunisia have given Coach Gernot Rohr an ample opportunity to discover more talented players that could bring positive results for the team in the qualifiers.
Mr Allen noted that presence of quality players in the team should not create headache for the coach rather bring competiveness into the team.
He however advised the coach to select the starting 11 for the matches based on the players outstanding performance in their various clubs.
The invited Players are expected to report at the Protea Hotel Emotan in Benin City on Monday, 9th November. Victory in both encounters will all but guarantee Nigeria a slot at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations finals holding in Cameroon.
