We Are Stranded And Suffering, Kwara Traders Of Perishable Goods , Cattle Dealers Cry Out To FG

Traders of Perishable goods and cattle dealers from Kwara State have appealed for Federal’s intervention over the blockage of the access road to the southern and north Central parts of the country by the Nothern Concensus Movement.

They expressed frustration at the blockage the toll gate for the past three days and called on government to come to their aid.

Adam Sakariya who spoke on behalf of the group explained that, the traders have suffered huge loss as a result of the road block, stressing that items such as tomatoes, onion and other foodstuffs are being rotten as a result of the impasse.

Another trader, Abdulganiyu Ubadanwaki who described the stalemate as needless, called for urgent action from the federal government so that they can return back to their destination.

Reports have it that, traders of perishable goods and cattle dealers have been stranded at the Kwara border in Jebba as a result of protest by the hausa community.
