Why Muslims Must Live Righteously – Ustaz Muhammad Ghali

Muslims have been enjoined to embark on good deeds and shun all evil behaviors while they are alive.

An Islamic Cleric, Ustaz Muhammad Ghali Abdullahi Agbaji made the call while delivering lecture at the Fidau prayer of Mallam Mashood Uthman Otta held at Kejebu Compound, Agbaji quarters, Ilorin.

Ustaz Muhammad Ghali said this life is a temporary home for all, man needs to worship Allah sincerely and do good to all creatures of Allah before his departure from this World as death is an inevitable.

The cleric described Mallam Mashood Otta as a gentle and man of multi facets goodness when he was alive which later manifested after his demise.

He urged people to emulate him in kindness and good attitudes, so that they would leave a good legacy and be remembered when departed this World.

Mallam Mashood Otta was a junior brother to the National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, IEDPU, Alhaji Uthman Otta.

The Fidau of late Mashood Otta was presided over by the Imam of Agbaji, Sheikh Aminullahi Tantolohun, who prayed fervently for the repose of the deceased soul and for peaceful coexistence in Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole.

A statement by the Assistant Publicity Secretary of IEDPU, Mallam Sulaiman Dagbo affirms that the prayer was attended by a powerful delegation of National Executives of IEDPU led by the National Vice President, ACG AbdulMuhmin AbdulMalik, eminent Islamic Scholars, past Executives of IEDPU and some prominent people within Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
