Some unknown Bandits have stormed Dan-Kurmi Village in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Killing one and abducting 10 including Wife of the District Head, Hajia Baraka Sani Usman.
A resident of the village, Malam Nasiru Habibu while giving account of the incidence said the Bandits attacked the Village on Thursday night.
According to Malam Nasiru, the Bandits who arrived the village carrying AK47 riffles, opened fire sporadically which threw the villagers into confusion.
He said, they killed one Alhaji Haruna Koli, a businessman and neighbor to the District Head.
The Police Public Relations Officer, of the State Police Command, SP Shehu Muhammad who confirmed the incident also said the bandits abducted 10 persons in the village and killed one.
He said the Command has mobilized its men to the area for search and rescue mission.
