President Bola Tinubu, has congratulated Senator Godswill Akpabio and Rt. Honourable Tajudeen Abbas as they were elected President of the Senate and Speaker of the House of Representatives for the 10th National Assembly respectively.
In a personal statement that he signed, Tinubu stressed that the election of the newly elected presiding officers by their colleagues and taking on leadership positions in the National Assembly is a revered privilege that entails significant responsibility.
Similarly, President Tinubu, extended his best wishes to Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Hon Idris Wase, and Hon Aminu Jaji, who were not elected, acknowledging their valuable participation in the leadership election of the 10th National Assembly.
He encouraged them to maintain the same enthusiasm they displayed during the contest and carry out their duties to their constituents and Nigeria with dedication.
