Muslimshave been admonished to prepare for death with good deeds and sincerity of purpose in all their endeavors.
This was contained in a lecture delivered by Professor Hamzat Abdul Raheem at a special prayer organized by IEDPU CENTRAL ZONE in honor of a one time National Vice President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union Late Dr. Salihu A. Adebayo who served as the National Secretary of the Union between 1993 and 1996 and National Vice President of the same Union between 2013 and 2017.
Professor Hamzat described life as mirage which shall disappear at the designated time. He also urged muslims to use their wealth and position to serve Allah and humanity because they will one day leave this World and account for their deeds in the Hereafter.
In his remarks the IEDPU CENTRAL ZONE CHAIRMAN Alhaji Saidu Alaya represented by Alhaji Muhammad Bello Olohundare said Dr. Adebayo spent his life with good deeds and his contributions toward the development of the IEDPU during his tenures as National Secretary and National Vice President of the Union could not be forgotten while his selfless life style should be emulated by aĺl. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
The programme had in attendance the prominent members of the Union which includes the former National president of the the Union Alhaji Abdul Hamid Adi , Lawyer YK Saad, Alhaji Tijani Orisankoko, Professor Sidiq Afunku , Alhaji kola Balogun, Branch Chairmen of the Union among others.
