The senator representing kwara North, Umar Sadiq has been commended for his responsiveness in the distribution of palliatives to the communities and vulnerable persons targerted for the CACOVID initiatives.
A statement by the Kwara State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) commended Senator Umar for being alive to his responsibility and commitment to the yearnings of his constituents with direct supervision and monitoring of the palliatives for effective movement and distribution to the various destinations.
“It is worth noting that Senator Umar ensured that Kwara North got it share of the CACOVID palliatives on the day the palliatives arrived kwara State on September 23rd 2020.
” We call on other political Stakeholders to take a cue from Umar to prevent a repeat of the ugly incident of Friday 23rd September, when palliatives meant for only Offa local government area of kwara South senatorial district were looted by hoodlums, ” the statement said.
