Scores of bandits have attacked students at Government Science College (GSC) Kagara, in Niger state, and were abducted, Tuesday night.
It was learnt that the armed men came in military uniform, in a bid to disguise themselves. They overpowered the security guards attached to the School where over a thousand student reside, before whisking many of them into the bush.
Meanwhile, as at press time, the numbers of student abducted by the bandits hasn’t been ascertained, but it was learnt that a headcount is being conducted at the School to ascertain the actual number of missing students.
According to reports, some of the students manage to escape from their abductors during the raid.
