A new Zonal Head has been appointed for the Ilorin Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.He is Chief Detective Superintendent Usman M. Muktar.
Detective Superintendent Muktar takes over the Zone from Chief Detective Superintendent Oseni Kazeem Oluwasina who has now been redeployed to Makurdi Office of the Commission as the new Zonal Head.
Muktar, is a top anti-corruption czar and he’s coming into his new post with lots of experience.
Before his recent appointment by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Muktar has served the Commission in various capacities, participated in many high-profile cases across the country including several trainings and courses home and abroad including Advance Defence Intelligence Officers Course 11/18 organised by Defence Intel Agency, DIA.
In a remark, Muktar who charged officers at the zone, to see the task of spearheading the fight against corruption as a service to one’s fatherland, emphasized the need for cooperation, professionalism and dedication to duty among staff as the Commission was determined to eradicate malaise of corruption.
Earlier, outgone Zonal Head, Kazeem while admonishing officers to give the new head all necessary support needed to advance the course of the fight against corruption, called for more diligence, dedication to duties and sincerity among them.
