Son of former Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation, (NFF) Adewale Laloko has said that his father Kashimawo Laloko’s death wasn’t not caused by Covid-19.
According to the deceased son, Adewale, his father died on Sunday night.
He said his father, 76, died in Lagos, after a brief illness.
“My father’s death was not as a result of COVID-19, but weakness.”
The late Laloko will be buried according to Muslim rites on Tuesday at his Gbonagun residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Laloko founded the Pepsi Football Academy, Lagos in 1992 and has produced some of the country’s brightest football talents.
He was also the coach of Lagos darling club Stationery Stores.
