The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has sent his condolences to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero over the demise of their matriarch, Hajia Maryam Ado Bayero.
Rt. Hon. Danladi-Salihu in his condolence message also commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari whose mother, Alhaja Aisha Bolanta Sulu-Gambari is the elder sister of late Hajia Ado Bayero as well as the people of Kano, Bichi and Ilorin Emirate cities.
“It is very sad to learn about the demise of our mother, Hajia Maryam Ado Bayero, a Queen-Mother, the mother to the Emirs of Kano and the Bichi Emirates, on behalf of the Ninth Assembly, I commiserate with the Emir of Ilorin, the Ilorin, Kano and Bichi Emirates over the death of our mother”.
“We pray to Almighty Allah to bless her soul and admit her among the dwellers of Aljanat Fridaos, Ameen”.
Hajia Maryam Ado Bayero was until her death, the eldest Princess in Ilorin Emirate, Daughter of the 8th Emir of Ilorin, junior sister to 9th Emir Of Ilorin and also, Junior Sister to the mother of the present Emir of Ilorin.
