The Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union(IEDPU),the umbrella sociocultural organisation of the people of Ilorin Emirate,has described the appointment of Alhaji Abdulwahab Akosile as a welcome development.
The National President of the Union, Alhaji Aliyu Otta Uthman, fsi,stated this at the sendoff programme organised by the management of the station in honour of its immediate past General Manager, Alhaji Abdulmualiy Olanrewaju Adegboyega at the Station’s premises on Wednesday.
Alhaji Uthman,who was the Chairman of the Occasion, urged the new General Manager to emulate the fascinating attributes of his predecessors, who he described as an humble, generous,friendly and hardworking professional.
He added that the calibre and number of dignitaries and organizations who came from far and near to honour Alhaji Adegboyaga at the event was an enough confirmation that the retired General Manager did well.
The IEDPU President said that taking the footsteps of his predecessor was the only way the new General Manager could retain the Station’s huge listenership and clients as he assured him of the Union’s cooperation in the task ahead.
