Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has pledged improved support for the fight against HIV/AIDS, urging residents of the state to continue to live responsibly and to always present themselves for routine test to know their status.
In a statement commemorating the World AIDS Day, the Governor said the administration will continue to fund necessary interventions to support people living with the virus while strengthening the local campaign to curb the spread in the state.
He urged residents in the state to avoid stigmatising persons living with the virus saying that all they need is support, understanding, and care.
