Akogun who said elections especially among media professionals should not be seen as a do-or-die affair, but rather should be seen as an avenue where brilliant brains among the union showcase their ideological capability in moving the union forward.

According to him “This is one of the challenges that is causing check-off dues’ pile up, which in turn becomes a serious burden on the individual members like we are currently experiencing.

” So, by the grace of God and with your massive votes for us on July 10th, once we get into office, we will device a workable means of interfacing with your Bursary Department to facilitate a seamless process by which members’ checkoff dues would be deducted without any hassles, he added.
