The Kwara State Police Command has Confirmed the abduction of three veterinary doctors in Elega Village via Kpanpo along Eyenkurin/Ogbondoroko road, in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Confirming the abduction to journalists in Ilorin, Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi, said the incident occurred on the 22nd of March, 2021, when five heavily armed men stormed the area and abducted the three men on their farms.
He explained that rescue mission is ongoing, as one of the kidnapped men that escaped is helping the police with necessary information.
It was gathered that the gunmen are demanding for 15 million ransom for the release of each of their victims.
