NSCDC ARREST TWO SUSPECTED HOODLUMS IN ILORIN

The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has picked up two suspected thieves at Odota area of Ilorin on a suspicion of being members of a gang that have been terrorising the area in recent time.

The spokesman of the Corps Babawale Zaid Afolabi disclosed this in a release made available to newsmen in llorin during the weekend.

” On Saturday 03/07/2021, our Operation Harmony tactical team, who were on a patrol picked up two suspected hoodlums at Odota area of ilorin. They are Sadam Musa(25) and Nasiru Hammed(22)”. Babawale revealed.

According to the information made available to the newsmen, the NSCDC patrol team were acting on a tip off when they stormed the hideout of the miscerants who have been reportedly disturbing the peace of those living in the neighbourhood.

” there have been complains from the neighbourhood about the nefarious activities of those boys who were found of robbing people of their phones and money.”
” They were many in their hideouts when we stormed the place. But some ran away while the two that were apprehended have been taken to our State Command for further action. ‘. Mr Babawale explained.

Some of the items recovered from the hoodlums are mobile phones, two transistor radio, rechargeable lamps, one knife and some wraps of indian hemps.
The State Commandant Iskil Ayinla Makinde has ordered for quick manhunt for other members of the gang who are still at large.
