Police in Kano said they have arrested 225 suspects accused of committing various offences between June first and July sixteen.
Police spokesperson in Kano Abdullahi Kiyawa announced this in a statement issued in Kano.
He said those apprehended include 21 armed robbery suspects, 7 kidnapping suspects, 23 drug dealers, 18 suspected fraudsters, 5 motor vehicles thieves, 11 cattle rustlers, and 140 notorious Yan Daba thugs.
All the suspects have been charged to court for onward prosecution.
