Rome expresses readiness to partner Nigeria, as Ambassador visits Governor Sule

Roman Ambassador to Nigeria, Reverend Antonio pilipazzi has expressed his country’s readiness to collaborate with Nigerian Government to bring succour to vunerable and less previlage persons across the State.

The Roman Ambassador stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Abdullahi Sule at the Government House, Lafia.

Reverend pilipazzi said considering the cosmopolitan nature of Nasarawa State with different ethnics and religious adherents, there is need for peace and harmony among the diverse ethnic groups across the State.

According to him, the gesture has become necessary taken into cognisance the hardship occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic, violence and insecurity across the country.

Appreciating the Roman Ambassador to Nigeria for the visit Governor Sule explained that the gesture to assist the less previlege in the state is not only timely but commendable considering the economic challenges bedeviling the nation.

Governor Sule noted that the country at moment needs lots of prayers from religious leaders to overcome the challenges facing the nation.
