WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY: KWARA SPEAKER PRAISES TEACHERS’ CONTRIBUTION TO NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Yakubu Danladi-Salihu has sent his salutation to teachers across the country on the occasion of this year’s world teachers’ day, stressing that their contribution to national development can not be overemphasized.

Engr Danladi-Salihu while celebrating teachers, particularly Kwara teachers, noted that the teaching profession remains noble and invaluable and that the Ninth Assembly under his leadership would continue to give legislative support that would better the welfare of teachers in the state.

“On behalf of my esteemed colleagues at the House of Assembly, the Ninth Legislature, I congratulate teachers especially those in Kwara State on the occasion of this year’s world teachers day. We are not unmindful of the great work they are doing in shaping the future of our children and building the nation, this is why as legislators we will continue to give them necessary support that would ensure improvement in their welfare”

“Once again, on behalf of my colleagues, congratulations to teachers and I wish them more success”.
